The Huawei Ascend G6 4G smartphone has been announced at the MWC being held in Barcelona, Spain and the Chinese manufacturer has revealed that you can expect it to be made available in the course of the next couple of months. This mid-range device will be available in two variants – 4G LTE and 3G.

The gadget has been fitted with a 4.5-inch qHD LCD touchscreen that has a pixel density of 245ppi which is accompanied by a 5MP webcam. On the flip side, you will find 8MP camera complete with features like the Sony IMX134 sensor, a blue glass infrared filter, flash and much more. Also, it has a voice-activated selfie function so you can simply ask the camera to click your picture.
Moreover, the handset brings an intuitive user interface that can be attributed to the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS and the proprietary Emotion UI 2.0. A quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor sprinting at a speed of 1.2GHz resides within the phone along with a 2000mAh lithium-polymer battery. On the memory front, it tags along 1GB of RAM as well as 4GB of expandable onboard storage.
The ‘one key scan’ function has been tossed into the mix for ensuring enhanced performance at all times and you get the option of capturing Voice photos that record a 10-second audio clip. These can be shared via Facebook as well as WeChat. The 4G version can be picked up in white and pink or champagne gold shades, whereas the 3G model will arrive drenched in pink, white, gold, blue and black.

The Huawei Ascend G6 4G will be made available in April this year, while the 3G variant will hit store shelves in this quarter itself.
