The HTC Windows Phone 8X, 8S and their price in India details have been revealed. Both devices will go live sometime this month tagging along a dual core processor and the Windows Phone 8 platform.
The Taiwanese manufacturer’s WP8 duo first made their appearance back in September. The 8X is in direct competition with Nokia’s Lumia 920 possessing a similar set of specifications. The device features a uni-body form factor that measures 10.12mm thick. The handset’s overall weight is 130 grams and it comes bundled with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 1GB of RAM. The front is equipped with a 4.3-inch super LCD 2 display portraying a resolution of 720p HD. The device provides 16GB of pre-built storage.
Coming to the 8S, this handset sports a 4-inch Super LCD display with a WVGA resolution. A 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor runs the show with 512MB of RAM. The device measures 120.5mm x 63mm x 10.28mm in terms of dimensions. Users will have access to a 5MP camera with LED flash, AF, f2.8 aperture and 720p recording. Other features incorporated here include Beats Audio, Bluetooth 3.1, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and GPS with GLONASS.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X will be up for grabs at Rs. 35,023, while the 8S will be available for Rs. 19,260 at launch. Both the devices have their release date in India pegged for this month. What’s more, Nokia also plans on launching its latest Lumia range in the country and we’re not talking about the Lumia 510 smartphone.
