HTC Touch Diamond Phone announced in India

HTC Touch Diamond HTC has released the Touch Diamond phone in the Indian market. Bharti Airtel will be the sole carrier to sell the latest HTC phone.

The Touch Diamond features the advanced touch technology with a three dimensional touch interface called TouchFLO 3D. This interface offers animated access to people, messaging, email, photos, music, weather etc.

Additionally, HTC has also offered a new innovative touch-sensitive control for interacting with Touch Diamond. It features a 2.8-inch display which delivers near-print quality viewing of photographs and a perfect Web browsing experience, claims HTC.

Furthermore, the phone sports a built-in camera with optical auto-focus lens. While the Touch Diamond runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional that includes Outlook Mobile, Office Mobile, Windows Live and the capabilities to run thousands of third-party applications.

Plus, the Touch Diamond also includes a customized new YouTube application for watching a variety of user generated video content and utilizing Google Maps for mobile for mapping and traffic data.

The HTC Touch Diamond phone will be available through Airtel in the top 25 cities across India at the price of Rs. 27,500.
