When HTC is going all out to reveal that it has lined up something ‘Incredible’ for its users in the US for next week, we have little reason to believe that it is not talking about the Verizon Droid Incredible 4G LTE. And as the company has already introduced the phone last month, we are expecting the device to go live through Verizon Wireless in July.
The OEM hasn’t divulged anything at all in its Twitter post. But,considering that not long ago, an internal leaked document confirmed July 5 as the release date of the 4G LTE phone, Verizon users may not have to wait too long to upgrade to the new Droid Incredible. Engadget, who had reported about the aforementioned document, agrees with this supposition as well.
The latest addition to the series, boasts of data speeds ranging from 5Mbps to 12Mbps for downloads and between 2Mbps and 5Mbps for uploads. The Wi-Fi enabled smartphone can also share its 4G LTE network speed with as many as 10 mobile devices. It tags along most features found in HTC branded phones, which are inclusive of Beats Audio and HTC Sense 4.0.
A 4-inch qHD Super LCD multi-touch display and a webcam grace the front side, while the rear panel is dotted with an 8MP camera, possessing features like auto focus and LED flash. The device acquires multitasking properties from the 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and a 1,700mAh battery powers the operations.
The Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE may be the device the manufacturer has referred to in the post on Twitter. We cannot do much but wait for HTC or Verizon Wireless to make the official announcement.
