The HTC One V, an entry-level member of the Taiwan-based manufacturer’s One series of smartphones, has now gone up for grabs via U.S. Cellular. On purchasing the handset, users will have access to the carrier’s 3G data network.

Built around dimensions of 4.74 x 2.35 x 0.36 inches, the device comes bundled with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor and 512MB of RAM. It also fits in a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD2 display portraying resolutions of 480 x 800 pixels. Users will have 4GB of available storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot.

“This phone is great for people who want to simplify and organize their life using one device,” commented Edward Perez, vice president of sales and marketing operations for U.S. Cellular. “The high-end camera and premium audio features make it easy to leave your other gadgets at home while on-the-go.”

For entertainment needs, the smartphone comes loaded with the Beats Audio enhancement for a rich listening experience. In addition to this, users will be able to snap up images through the 5MP rear-facing camera which features HD video capture, a BSI sensor, an f2.0 aperture and a 28mm lens. A 1500mAh Li-ion battery takes on the task of powering up all aforementioned components while delivering up to 6 hours of talktime or 18 days of standby.

The HTC One V price via U.S. Cellular amounts to $129.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. The device is available for purchase through the carrier along with a data plan and a fresh two-year agreement. An activation fee may be applicable for new customers. The handset can also be picked up with a prepaid connection for just about $250.
