Although the HTC One S is already available for purchase through select retailers in India, the company has now officially announced the phone’s release. Its siblings, the One X and V, were introduced a couple of months ago in the country.
The scratch-resistant smartphone with a gradient metal finish, dons a 4.3-inch multi-touch display on the front panel. It should negate the need to carry a compact camera as the manufacturer has bestowed the device with the ImageSense technology in addition to an 8MP primary camera that can capture still shots while recording videos even in poorly lit conditions. The One S also facilitates instant sharing of the images directly from the phone. It acquires multitasking properties from a dual core processor.

This handset also keeps users entertained on the move with the integrated Beats Audio technology and the Music Hub, which gathers all music services and applications installed in the phone. Its pre-installed HTC Media Manager software allows updating media libraries and wirelessly transferring songs from the computer. Additionally, it comes with 25GB free Dropbox storage and Media Link HD to establish HDMI connections and use it as a controller while playing games on big screen HDTVs.
The HTC One S price in India has officially been tagged at Rs. 33,590.
