The HTC One mini is now available to pre-order in the US and its being offered unlocked in 3G HSPA+ as well as 4G LTE variants. The device has already been priced in the UK and it’s expected to go on sale in a couple of day’s time. Currently, there’s no official confirmation on whether the device will land in the US or not, so those patiently waiting for the compact device can head over to Negri Electronics to reserve a unit.
The HTC One mini is designed with the same essence of the company’s flagship, but with a smaller form factor. The device features the same aluminum form factor which is crafted by implementing the zero gap design approach. The hardware components on the other hand, have been altered to fit the needs of the mid-range segment. The display size in 4.3-inches and the panel proffers 720p HD resolution with 341ppi pixel density. The handset measures 9.25mm thick and it weighs 122 grams.
The HTC One mini like its larger sibling runs on Android Jelly Bean and features the Sense 5 UI with BlinkFeed. The BoomSound speakers are present here as well, and so is the UltraPixel camera. Apart from these, the phone sports a Snapdragon 400 dual core 1.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and an 1800mAh battery.
The HTC One mini can be seen on Negri Electronics in 3 different variants with each model available for pre-order in black and silver shades. The 601E version comes with 3G HSPA+ connectivity only and is tagged at $522.50, while the 4G LTE enabled 601S and 601N options are priced at $617.50 and $598.50, respectively.
