After months of speculation, the HTC One max went official back in October, but its launch date in the US is yet to be announced by carriers. While we know that Verizon and AT&T will carry the handset in the future, price and release date details for Sprint have surfaced via Best Buy.
Engadget points out that the listing on Best Buy shows the device’s availability as November 15. Now, the retailer could have put up the release date by accident and it could be wrong. However, there is a bit of information from Sprint to back it up. The carrier’s support site for the HTC One max lists the initial software release availability as none other than November 15. You can expect to hear an official word on the phone’s launch soon.
Here are the main features of the One max:

If you’re not a fan of large screens, the HTC One mini is also available in the US. AT&T is offering the smartphone for $99.99 with a 2-year contract. The One max arrives with Android 4.3 preloaded and the company has announced that an update to version 4.4 KitKat has been planned for release in the future. Other features of the handset include HTC BoomSound, BlinkFeed, the UltraPixel camera and a 3300mAh battery which can deliver around 25 hours of talktime.
Best Buy is currently offering the Sprint HTC One max for pre-order at $249.99 with a new 2-year service agreement. The off-contract price is listed as $749.99.
