The HTC One Max is definitely on its way to India next week. The smartphone will arrive along with several accessories by the company as well as the One mini in two new colors of red and blue. The word comes from Country Head of HTC India, Faisal Siddiqui himself.
The MRP of the One Max will be marked at Rs 56,490, though The MobileStore has already listed it for Rs 53,909. The only thing is, sitting below the image and video of the smartphone is a description of its features – 4.9” touchscreen, KitKat, 8MP camera, 2300mAh battery and so on. Sounds like the Nexus 5, doesn’t it?
A careless error on the retailer’s part obviously. But it’s been left uncorrected long enough to let us entertain some misgivings about surrendering our credit card information and when we can expect delivery. The website says that the silver colored One Max is in stock and will begin shipping within 1 or 2 business days.
Gizbot confirms that the Taiwanese company will also be rolling in the HTC Mini+ accessory for the One series. Pictured below, it is a Bluetooth-enabled peripheral which acts as a sort of cordless extension of your phone while the latter is being charged. It can be used to make or receive calls, read text messages and so on. The price is Rs 7,500.
The One mini will welcome Rs 1,500 flip cover options in 6 color choices and the Fetch Bluetooth for preventing owners from losing their device is scheduled to hit Indian markets by the end of this month. HTC may bundle in a free stylus for the One Max too. Lastly, 3 new Desire phones are lined up for launch before we move into 2014.
