Buzz about the HTC M8 Ace is getting stronger by the day, even as we now have a full fledged image of the alleged smartphone. Believed to be a plastic-based alternative to the company’s flagship, it will apparently be launched on June 3 for release in China at least.
The M8 Ace can be seen here in a leaked image outed by ifanr. This one is extremely different from the ones that came from China’s TENNA a few days ago, but then again, they seemed quite shady to us back then. It’ll thus be safe to assume that the image below is the final form of the device.
Main specifications of this phone are already out, so let us run you through them. Since it’s a variant of the HTC One M8, it grabs the same 5-inch 1080p full HD display which is present of the said flagship. However, there is also a contradicting report which says that a 4.7-inch panel has made its way onto the device.
One major difference is the absence of the M8’s Duo Camera setup. The Ace has gone for a 13MP rear shooter to seemingly please those who are unhappy with HTC’s Ultrapixel technology. A quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor is also said to form part of its offerings.
Like we said, the HTC M8 Ace is most likely to be unveiled on June 3. We’ll have more on it when additional details are out.
