As was promised by HTC, the One A9 is set to hit India on December 15 and will retail for Rs 29990. The company has chosen Snapdeal to be the only avenue to buy the handset. Interested people can register themselves for the device from December 9 till 14.
HTC had announced the One A9 along with the Desire 828 Dual SIM back in November. The brand has been mum on when it’s planning to release the latter in India. As for the former, it’s only brought the 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM model to the country. To recall, the device has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM version as well.
This unit might still make its way to India in the future. One of the main assets of the HTC phone is that it ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, one of the first non-Nexus devices to do so. At its global launch, the manufacturer had guaranteed it will receive updates within 15 days of Nexus smartphones getting them.
