The HTC P8 Prime leaks keep pouring in and we’ve learnt almost everything about the upcoming smartphone over the past couple of days. The latest revelation is a 360-degree image of the smartphone which leaves no part of the device (except for the top and bottom) unseen.
EvLeaks is the source of the press render and also responsible for almost everything we know about the HTC M8 Prime. The image, shown below, highlights the exotic material used to design the smartphone. No, we’re not talking about aluminum, but a composite of the metal with liquid silicone which offers more advantages over plain aluminum, including better durability, higher thermal conductivity and cost-effective production. The press render clearly shows that the smartphone will be taller than the current flagship.
A previous leak suggested that the device will have a 5.5-inch display of QHD resolution. This could mean that we may not see a second generation HTC One max model. Above and below the screen are the Boom Sound stereo speakers, while the Duo Camera can be found on the rear with dual LED flash. The smartphone definitely looks more alluring than the original and it’s said to be water-resistant which would explain the orange padding around the main camera.
EvLeaks also mentioned on his Twitter account that the HTC M8 Prime will be the first handset to offer Sense version 6.5. So we’re assuming that the device will come with Android 4.4.3 KitKat that should go official at this year’s Google I/O conference.
FYI: M8 Prime will be the first Sense 6.5 handset from HTC. That is all. [render: http://t.co/ZAJh4HiPxr]
