HTC M8 aka One 2 is making headlines again. This time, we have come across a picture of the rear panel of the smartphone which has surfaced on Twitter. And what’s unusual about the gadget in question is the presence of dual cameras on the back side. Does this mean that the device will feature three snappers?
A Twitter handle that goes by the name of @HTCFamily_RU has posted the handset’s image on the micro-blogging website, but it refrained from letting out any other details. Also, the HTC smartphone will not be released at the MWC as was expected. @evleaks recently revealed that the M8 will be introduced at an event held in New York sometime in March.

And what’s more, we hard that this will be the first ever smartphone manufactured by the Taiwanese company to have on-screen buttons. It looks like HTC is finally ready to let go of capacitive keys. As we already know, the phone has a form factor that resembles its predecessor, the One and interested customers can expect the Android 4.4 OS, a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, a 5-inch touchscreen and 2GB of RAM amongst other things.
Here’s a list of the purported specifications:
– 5-inch full HD touchscreen of 1080p
– Android KitKat 4.4
– Dual rear cameras
– Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor
– 2GB of RAM
– 16GB onboard memory
An official confirmation regarding the HTC M8 or One 2 smartphone’s existence has not been made and if the new crop of speculations is to be believed, we may not hear anything until March.
