We’ve seen the HTC M8 Ace get leaked extensively over the past few months and images of the phone have also surfaced. Adding to those are newly leaked press renders which show the phone in multiple color options and they also highlight the plastic design.
For those new to the HTC M8 Ace, the smartphone is basically a plastic version of the flagship One M8. In fact, since the phone is said to have a 4.7-inch display and a single rear camera, it could considered as a refreshed One M7 2013 with a less-premium form factor. The new images of the handset come via Twitter user @upleaks who’s managed to score multiple renders of the device.
The smartphone will arrive in red, blue, black and white options and it’ll be marketed as a stylish option in the flagship series. Like its larger sibling, the Ace will continue to have Boom Sound speakers on the front and while there’s a single camera on the rear. Rumor has it that the sensor will be of 13MP and not UltraPixel type. Specs-wise, the phone will come with a 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 SOC which is slightly faster than the one on the M8 flagship.
Here are the possible specs:
– Android 4.4 KitKat
– 4.7-inch 1080p display
– 2GB RAM
– 16GB storage, microSD support
– 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 SOC
– 13MP rear camera
– 5MP front snapper
– 2600mAh battery
The HTC M8 Ace is scheduled to go official next week on June 3. Be sure to tune in then for the entire scoop on the smartphone.
