HTC’s upcoming M9 flagship has been leaked a few times already, but it looks like there’s a second high-end smartphone planned for release in 2015. The device has been revealed as the HTC Hima and it will carry some pretty impressive features.
Twitter user @upleaks has disclosed that the HTC Hima will be an international release. There’s no word on the phone’s design, but the leakster notes that it will carry a 5-inch display with 1080p visuals and a 2GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 SOC. For comparison’s sake, the One M9 is rumored to have a slower quad core Snapdragon 805 chip and a 5.5-inch 2K display.
The Hima will also have 3GB of RAM, a 20.7MP rear camera, a 13MP or UltraPixel front snapper and LTE Cat.6 connectivity. Android 5.0 Lollipop will come with Sense 7.0 baked in and a 2840mAh battery will power up the handset. The phone is said to be headed to all major carriers in the US and is already in testing.
Additionally, the leakster notes that there will be a Hima Ace handset as well. This phone is most likely going to be an affordable version with dual SIM support, much like the One E8. The handset is headed to China and will probably be released in other locations across Asia.
