Although the HTC Desire VC India availability was already announced through online retailer Snapdeal, the company has now officially released the smartphone in the country in association with Tata Docomo. The dual SIM phone boasts of being the first ICS-based device to let users experience HSIA internet.
The CDMA smartphone with GSM support belonging to the Desire lineup by HTC, entered the country close on the heels of the Desire V and the Desire C. Powered by the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform, this handset’s interactive interface can be attributed to Sense 4.0. It wears a 4-inch touchscreen on the front panel and allows users to easily switch between networks.
“As a well received dual-technology telecom service provider in India, the addition of a Smartphone like the HTC Desire VC to our existing portfolio of products and services is an important step in strengthening our offerings to consumers in the CDMA & GSM space. Our pan-India reach, supported by the traditionally strong speeds on TTL’s cutting-edge Photon network, will provide users with an exceptional voice and data communication experience and provide great value for discerning voice customers,” stated Sunil Tandon, Head Non Voice Services, Tata Docomo.
Moreover, the integrated Beats Audio technology teams up with the internal hardware to render clear audio, whether listening to music or playing games. Enclosed in a durable metal chassis, the handset has been fitted with a hyper-viewing angle display and a metallic camera bezel too. Needless to say, it can be used to surf the internet and to access social networking websites on the move. The device comes with 25GB Dropbox storage too.
The HTC Desire VC price in India is Rs. 23,300. But it will be up for sale for as low as Rs. 21,999.
