One of this year’s most talked about mid-rangers, the HTC Desire 816 has been made available for purchase in India by its manufacturer. This device has arrived later than scheduled and has even grabbed a higher price tag than what the company had earlier stated.
Back when it was unveiled for the country, HTC had said that it would be hitting the market within two weeks with its MRP set at Rs 23,990. And even as the device has gone on sale now, it has grabbed prices of over Rs 24,000 from different online retailers.
As AndroidOS has pointed out, Flipkart is offering it at Rs 24,750, whereas Infibeam is asking for Rs 24,450. You can however, buy the HTC Desire 816 through Saholic at Rs 23,029. What’s worth noting is that all these websites are displaying its original MRP to be Rs 27,390.
The dual SIM phone comes dressed in a number of different color options and benefits from a 5.5-inch 720p HD panel. It captures its visuals on a 13MP rear camera, and reserves a 5MP snapper for selfies. Fueling it from within is a 1.61GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1.5GB of RAM.
Like we said, the HTC Desire 816 has hit online stores in India but it has seemingly gone out of stock on some of them. You’d thus want to hurry if you want to lay your hands on it. Here are the links: Infibeam, Flipkart and Saholic.
