Besides Clove, the Windows Phone 8-based HTC 8X price in the UK and its release date details have been revealed through Amazon. The online retailer has quietly put the phone up for pre-order in the country and declared that it will start shipping the handset from November 8.

This smartphone’s 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 multi-touch screen is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 in order to withstand scrapes and scratches. In addition to the touchscreen, its front panel has also been fitted with a 2.1MP webcam for video conferencing on the move. The device’s flip side houses an 8MP primary camera complete with features like ImageChip, LED flash, auto focus, f2.0 aperture, BSI sensor and video recording capabilities.

It acquires multitasking properties from a 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor as well as 1GB RAM and takes advantage of the Windows Phone 8 platform. The phone draws power from a 1,800mAh battery and comes with wireless connectivity options like NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth amongst others.

TechnoBuffalo, who got wind of the HTC 8X release date and price in the UK through The Inquirer, reports that the unlocked phone costs £531.43. But, Amazon seems to have decreased the price and it is now up for pre-order for £399.99. The device is slated to start shipping from November 8.
