Emulating what LG did with the G5, HTC will apparently also launch a Snapdragon 652 version of its upcoming 10 smartphone, according to a new report. In addition to this information, we’ve also been greeted by a number of live images of this device.
Every other leak about the HTC 10 has pointed out that it will ship with a Snapdragon 820 chipset inside it, offering the benefits of an advanced quad core CPU and an Adreno 530 GPU. However, a My Drivers report has said that while two variants of the handset will indeed be equipped with the said SoC, a third version will be seen going for a Snapdragon 652 model.
This particular phone will apparently opt for 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space, whereas the two higher end models will come in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/128GB memory configurations. The report has also thrown some light on what kind of a price tag the HTC 10 will be grabbing in China.
It seems the Snapdragon 652 version of the handset will be sold at RMB 3799 RMB (about $585 or Rs 39000). As for the Snapdragon 820 models, they will be made available for purchase at 4999 RMB (about $770 or Rs 51200) and 5888 RMB (around $900 or Rs 60300).
Apart from this leak, some images alleged to be of this HTC phone have also showed up unexpectedly. They have come courtesy French website Nowwherelse, and confirm the final design of the handset.
We have found out through leaks that the HTC 10 will be adopting a 5.15-inch Quad HD monitor and a 3000mAh battery. It is also rumoured to be the beneficiary of an advanced camera system that will help it better compete with competition.
The HTC 10 smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled on April 12; so stay tuned until then to know more about it.
