HP Spectre 13 launched in India as world’s thinnest laptop, priced at Rs 1.20 lakhs

HP Spectre 13

At just 10.4mm slim, the HP Spectre 13 happens to be the world’s thinnest laptop according to its maker. This product has now entered India bearing quite an expensive price tag of Rs 1.20 lakhs. For those wondering, it will be made available for purchase in the country via regular retail channels from June 25 onwards.

The HP Spectre 13 laptop has been built with a CNC machined aluminum chassis which happens to be as thin as a AAA-battery. This body benefits from hyperbaric cooling technology which allows it to stay cool and provide peak performances at the same time.

Those interested in purchasing the Spectre 13 will be provided with a choice of Intel’s Core i5 or Core i7 processors, and they can combine these CPUs with as much as 8GB of RAM. As its name suggests, this laptop features a 13.3-inch IPS monitor which boasts of full HD resolution and the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4, which is again impressive.

One would imagine HP to have compromised the battery life of the product in the quest to gain the minimum thinness, but that’s not the case. The power unit inside this contraption enables it to offer up to 9 hours and 45 minutes of battery life.

Apart from being extremely slim, the Spectre 13 laptop is also incredibly light at just 1.11 kilograms. It features high gloss copper accents that are made to reflect its hand-polished, jewelry-like finish. Moreover, it has even been granted a hidden piston hinge which creates the illusion of a hinge-less design.

Like we said, the HP Spectre 13 will be made available on June 25 in India at a price of Rs 1.20 lakhs.
