The HP 4545s, 4446s and 4445s business-oriented notebook PCs have been revealed adding to the company’s computing portfolio. The California-based multinational had earlier unveiled the Compaq Pro 6305 desktop PC, aimed at delivering high-end solutions to businesses. And HP is attempting to remain at the front line, having announced its Z220 Workstations and EliteBook laptops back in June.

The newly unveiled notebook PCs feature all-new 2012 AMD A-series accelerated processors. In conjunction with Vision Pro technology, these processors are capable of providing performance to overcome rigorous work assignments. Power saving is achieved by powering down the discrete GPU when unplugged. The line of notebooks also allows dual graphics options for 3D rendering.

Dan Forlenza, Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Client Segment, HP, commented, “Today’s introduction of HP PCs, the first to bring the latest AMD processors to the business computing market, continues our decade-long tradition of collaborating with AMD to deliver computing solutions that balance performance and value for maximum investment protection.”

The ProBook 4545s has a 15.6-inch LED-backlit HD anti-glare screen which offers maximum visual output at 1366 x 768 resolution. It comes with a choice between the AMD dual core A6-4400M APU with Radeon HD 7520G graphics and the AMD quad core A8-4500M APU with Radeon HD 7640G graphics. The former version is priced at $579 and the latter at $749. Both versions come with 64-bit Windows 7 Professional, 4GB DDR3 1.3GHz RAM, a 500GB HDD and a 6-cell Li-ion battery capable of going up to 7 hours and 15 minutes on a charge.

Pricing for the HP ProBook 4545s, 4446s and 4445s starts at $499. The ProBook 4545s is presently available worldwide, while the other two will be made available to consumers in the Asia-Pacific region and Japan only.
