HP Envy x2, TouchSmart Ultrabook 4, Pavilion Sleekbook 14, 15 announced


The price and release date details for the HP Envy x2 and the TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 have finally been revealed along with availability information of the Pavilion Sleekbook 14 and 15 as well as the Pavilion dm1 laptops. Well, these aren’t all – the company has also announced the Envy m4 notebook, the ElitePad 900 tablet and the EliteBook Folio 9470m Ultrabook.

The latest laptop series from HP comes with third generation Intel processors and some even pack in discrete-class graphics from Nvidia and AMD in addition to a touchscreen. The company has also updated its AIO lineup with touch panels for a more native experience on the Windows 8 platform which went live globally today. The ElitePad 900 houses a dual core Intel Atom CPU and it will hit stores in January next year.


The Envy 23 and Envy TouchSmart AIOs are up for grabs in the US for a starting cost of $999 and $799, respectively. The 23.6-inch non-touch SpectreOne can be picked up for $1,299 sometime during next month, while the Pavilion 20 AIO carries a retail cost of $449 and it is available for purchase in the country along with the Envy Phoenix h9 desktop PC which is tagged at $899 and above.

Coming to the latest notebooks, the HP ElitePad Folio 9470m Ultrabook has a price tag of $1,049 and it will be available in the US starting today. The Pavilion Sleekbook 14 and 15 notebooks can be picked up for $499.99 and $579.99, respectively, while the dm1 can be purchased for $499.99. The Envy x2 hybrid PC currently costs $849.99 with a launch date scheduled for November 14 and the TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 will go on sale for $799.99. All aforementioned devices run on the Windows 8 platform and the listed retail amounts are for the base models only.
