HP Envy Ultrabook, Envy Sleekbook series launched in India

Fitted with some of the latest third generation Intel Core processors, the HP Envy Ultrabook and Envy Sleekbook families have made their debut in India. These notebooks from the California-based manufacturer are touted to arrive bearing a host of technologies for delivering a rich entertainment experience.

The Ultrabook series and Sleekbook range basically comprise of 2 variants each, namely the 14-inch Envy 4 and the 15.6-inch Envy 6. These notebook versions proffer up to 8 and 9 hours of battery life, respectively. The Intel-inspired ones are fitted with an mSATA SSD and feature the Intel Rapid Start, Identity Protection, Smart Response and Smart Connect technologies.

The Sleekbook range on the other hand, can be configured with optional discrete graphics for gaming and multimedia. In addition to the aforementioned features, both series incorporate built-in speakers and sub-woofers along with the Beats Audio enhancement. The TrueVision HD webcam takes its place for face-to-face live video chat, while the HP ImagePad is a replacement for conventional trackpads by delivering better precision and improved gesture support through an integrated image sensor.

The HP Envy Ultrabook price in India starts at Rs. 57,990, while the Sleekbook range can be picked up for an initial price of Rs. 41,990. Both notebook families are now available for purchase in the country.
