The game-changing Moto G smartphone from Motorola found India to be its prime market earlier this year, and its sole seller in the country has now decided to apply a price drop to it. Flipkart has revealed that both 8GB and 16GB models of the Android smartphone will be offered for Rs 2000 less than before.
This means, the 8GB model will be going for Rs 10499 rather than Rs 12499, whereas the 16GB variant will be priced at Rs 11999 instead of Rs 13999. There still seem to be no signs of the Moto G LTE version hitting the country however. Apart from super-fast 4G connectivity, the said model also features a microSD card slot, the absence of which was one of the few gripes we had with the phone back when we had reviewed it.
As unwelcome as it may sound, the price drop will last for a limited period of time, according to Flipkart. Once this particular set of stock is over, both variants will again start selling at their original retail values. So be quick to grab the phone for yourselves if you’re interested in it.
