Dell updates Inspiron Notebook and Desktop Line with Colors and Features

Dell Inspiron Notebook Family

Those who are looking out for stylish computers need not search any further for Dell has just updated its Inspiron computer line with a slew of ‘good-lookers’ that are available in colors to suit every taste and style.

The new products announced today include:

  • Inspiron 1720, 1721 (17-inch), Inspiron 1520 and 1521 (15.4-inch), Inspiron 1420 (14.1-inch) notebooks
  • Inspiron 530, 530s and 531, 531s desktops
  • Dell’s new Insipron notebook line-up includes three widescreen display choices in 14-, 15.4- and 17-inches. What’s more; they come in eight exciting colors such as Ruby Red, Midnight Blue, Espresso Brown, Spring Green, Alpine White gloss finish, Flamingo Pink, Sunshine Yellow and Jet Black matte finish.

    The Inspiron 1420, 1520 and 1720 notebooks from Dell feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors, while the Inspiron 1521 and 1721 feature AMD Turion 64×2 dual core processors.

    All the updated Inspiron notebooks feature Dell MediaDirect with Instant Office, which allows user to access content in a matter of seconds using one-button access.

    Additional features of the new Dell Inspiron Notebooks are:

  • Choice of high definition displays, including screen resolution and finishes, like TrueLife or non-glare
  • Choice of hard drive sizes up to 250GB; RAID 0,1 support (Inspiron 1721 only)
  • Optional integrated mobile broadband from Sprint or Verizon Wireless (EVDO -Rev A) or AT&T (HSDPA)
  • Optional integrated 2.0 megapixel webcam with dual digital microphone and noise-cancellation earbuds
  • Optional Blu-ray Disc drive (Inspiron 1420, 1520, 1720 only)
  • Optional 9-cell lithium-ion battery
  • Dell MediaDirect and Instant Office technology for fast, one-button access to videos, music or photos, calendar and contacts

  • Moving on to Dell’s Inspiron Desktops which are designed to offer flexibility in choice of form factors and configurations, these desktops carry prices starting at $349.

    Dell Inspiron 530 and 531s Desktops

    The Dell Inspiron 530 and 530s desktops feature Celeron to Intel Core 2 Duo processors, while the Inspiron 531 and 531s feature AMD Sempron to Athlon 64×2 dual core processors.

    Other features of the Dell Inspiron desktops include:

  • Optional internal Wi-Fi networking allows customers to place their desktop where they want instead of where the Ethernet cable is
  • Large hard drive capacity (up to 500GB) to store and manage large digital media files, like photos, videos, music, etc.
