Grand Theft Auto 5 or GTA V as it is lovingly known had left millions of fans disappointed due to the fact that it wasn’t available for PC. Despite various online petitions and fan uproar, its maker Rockstar Games had chosen to stay mum on the matter till now.
But at the E3, it has been confirmed that not only will it be hitting PC but also the PS4 and the Xbox One. This will happen during fall, and an exact release date hasn’t been mentioned as yet. What’s interesting is that the PC edition will come equipped with a special video editing tool meant for advanced movie-making. Details about it are slim however.
Since these three new platforms will provide its developers with more firepower than the PS3 and the Xbox 360, they will be infusing the new versions with a number of graphical and technical enhancements. These include draw distances, improved texture details, enhanced resolutions and denser traffic.
And that’s not all; Rockstar Games has also revealed through a blog post that GTA V for PC, PS4 and Xbox One will feature fresh wildlife, apart from upgraded weather and damage effects. No claims of resolution and frame per second output have been made by the company as yet.
Like we said, GTA V will be released for the above mentioned platforms during this fall. If you own a PS3 or an Xbox 360 you can even play the game right now. It takes place in a massive open world environment and contains action-based gameplay revolving around the lives of its three protagonists.
