Google has sent out press invites for an event on October 13, where it will probably announce the Nexus 5X and 6P. The occasion is set to take place in New Delhi at 11 am.
The media invites have an Android watermark on them, which strongly indicates the Marshmallow-running Nexus 5X and 6P are going to be launched on that date. Rajan Anandan, Google Vice President and Managing Director for India and South Asia, is also going to be present at the event.
The value of the devices was revealed last week. The 16GB model of the LG-made Nexus 5X is priced at Rs 31900, while its 32GB one will retail for Rs 35900. The Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P starts at Rs 39999 for its 32GB version, Rs 42999 for its 64GB variant and Rs 47999 for the 128GB unit.
Google launched the phones globally on September 29. The Nexus 6P sports a full-metal aluminum design with a 5.7-inch AMOLED QHD display encased within Gorilla Glass 4. Its 12.3MP main camera can record 4K resolution videos and comes with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. It’s powered by a 3450mAh battery, equipped with fast charging technology.
