Snapdeal has teamed up with Google as its online retail partner, kicking off the association by announcing a massive discount on the brand’s flagship Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The handsets were initially sold only via Flipkart online and various retail stores offline.
To recap, the Google Pixel is priced at Rs 57000 for the 32GB version and Rs 66000 for the 128GB one. The Pixel XL goes for Rs 67000 (32GB) and Rs 76000 (128GB). Interested buyers can now avail a Rs 10000 instant cashback scheme from Yes Bank, Rs 10000 in e-cash from Yatra, and a free Allianz mobile protection plan worth Rs 5999.
Meanwhile, Flipkart is serving up a number of deals of its own. Consumers can get up to Rs 23000 off on the cost of the Pixel upon swapping their older handset. The figure is Rs 3000 higher than the regular exchange value which the e-commerce site offers. People can also get Rs 8000 in cashback if they buy the device via their ICICI Bank credit card on EMI.
A neat look at the common specifications of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL:
– Display: 5-inch FHD/5.5-inch QHD
– OS: Android 7.1 Nougat
– CPU: quad-core Snapdragon 821
– Camera: 12.3MP rear, 8MP front
– Storage: 32GB/128GB
– RAM: 4GB
– Battery: 2770mAh/3450mAh
– Connectivity: 4G, Wi-Fiac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS
It should be noted that the ICICI scheme is only valid till January 18. Finally, Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders can take advantage of a 5% discount on the Pixel till January 31. Snapdeal’s offers on the smartphone don’t appear to be live as of now, but will probably kick in soon.
