The day has finally come when Indian consumers will be able to book for themselves a swanky new Nexus 6 handset, even as Flipkart has made the device available on its website. Both its 32GB and 64GB options in their midnight blue and cloud white colors can be pre-ordered via the e-commerce website right now.
But that’s hardly any news, especially since we already knew that the Nexus 6 was going to land in India today. A particularly disappointing piece of information is that deliveries of the handset won’t begin until ‘early December.’ What’s great news however is that a discount of up to Rs 10000 can be availed on the smartphone if you’re willing to trade in your current handset.
The newest Nexus is being offered by Flipkart at a price of Rs 43999 (32GB) or Rs 48999 (64GB), but if you enter its Exchange program, it can be yours for as low as Rs 33999 or Rs 38999, provided you have a good enough handset to trade in. Other launch offers on this Android 5.0 Lollipop flagship include a 3-month subscription of Flipkart First, a Rs 1500 cashback on an EMI scheme and free eBooks worth Rs 2100.
