Some more Google Nexus 5 pictures leaked via FCC filings

Remember the Google Nexus 5 codenamed LG D820 which was approved by the FCC about a week ago? Well, it has visited the commission once again resulting in some more images of the device surfacing on the internet. These new pictures reveal the phone in its full glory, giving us a clear view of both the front and the rear panels of the gadget.

The folks over at PhoneScoop happened to stumble upon these documents and if you are wondering why the Nexus 5 visited the FCC after receiving its approval, it was because LG has submitted class 2 permissive change for a couple of minor hardware modifications. This website revealed that the said changes were meant for a certain variant of Verizon’s LG G2, but the accompanying pictures do not resemble the said device at all. They show off a smartphone that appears pretty similar to the Nexus 4, which leads us to believe that it could be a successor to the fourth generation Google-certified phone. On examining it closely, users will notice that it has a slightly bigger camera and this compels us to expect a snapper complete with some advanced features.
