Indian smartphone buyers will soon have yet another affordable mid-range handset to consider in the form of the Gionee Elife S Plus, the specs and price of which have both leaked. It happens to be the company’s first ever offering to feature a USB Type-C port, and has its retail value set at Rs 16999.
That cost pushes it in the same league as the upcoming OnePlus X Onyx and the currently available Moto X Play, among other phones. The Gionee Elife S Plus is still being teased by its maker through its social channels, but here we are with its images and crucial details all revealed beforehand.
They have come via Phone Radar which has managed to get its hands on a unit of this Gionee smartphone somehow. The handset bears on its front surface a 5.5-inch AMOLED display which is complemented by Gorilla Glass 3. This panel showcases its visuals in 720p HD resolution.
The octa core CPU-equipped MediaTek MT6753 chipset has been chosen by its makers to fuel the Elife S Plus. This assembly combines its prowess with 3GB worth of RAM and 16GB worth of internal storage which is of course expandable via a micro SD card slot.
