Infosys Wins Telstra Excellence in Quality Award for the Year 2005

Infosys Headquarters Infosys Technologies has been conferred with the ‘Excellence in Quality’ award for the year 2005, by Telstra, the Australian telecommunications and information services company. Infosys has been chosen as the best amongst 11,000 other dealers, making it the pioneering IT services company to be honoured the Telstra Award for Excellence in Quality, and the only IT company to win an award in 2005.

Telstra ‘Excellence in Quality’ award recognises the quality of Infosys’ solutions. Telstra evaluated Infosys against its other suppliers and declared it as the winner based on an accurate evaluation of its quality and constant commitment to developing viable solutions and providing Telstra customers with better value.

Deena Shiff, Group Managing Director of Telstra SME, presented the award to Gary Ebeyan, Managing Director and CEO, Infosys Technologies Australia.

“Infosys has played an important role in helping Telstra establish and maintain the IT infrastructure critical to its success,” said Shiff. “The high quality solutions and services provided by Infosys helped Telstra better serve our customers.”

Infosys manages a large portfolio of Telstra applications across the Siebel Solution Center, Infrastructure Services, EAI Solution Center, Network Engineering, Sales Transaction System Delivery Center and Online Self-Service.

An overwhelmed Gary Ebeyan said, “This award recognizes Infosys’ commitment to Telstra and our unending focus on delivering quality and business improvement.”
