The Gigabyte Aivia Xenon, takes pride in being the first of its kind dual mode touchpad mouse. The device in question boasts of the ability to recognize multi-touch gestures and can be used as a portable touchpad. And naturally, it serves the purpose of a conventional mouse.

This peripheral has been embedded with a button on the side that lets users conveniently switch between touchpad and mouse modes, the last mentioned being the default one. It has been integrated with the Gigabyte laser engine that should ensure precise tracking, while the multi-touch gesture support is responsible for enhancing the web surfing experience.

The touchpad of the mouse is apparently equivalent to that of a laptop and comes with the Gigabyte Free-Scrolling technology, to facilitate effortless browsing through files. Additionally, this device can be customized with personalized gestures in order to make it even more usable.

And what’s more, the company has also included the exclusive Aivia Painter software that allows users to add improvements to their presentations. It can basically be utilized for painting on any surface of the computer screen. This dual mode touchpad mouse can work within a radius of 10 meters.

Moreover, this USB-based computer peripheral delivers a rate of 125 reports per second and 1000DPI resolution. Its pad can be used as the left key and the upper key on the right side of the device is the replacement for the right key. The shiny black colored mouse with dimensions of 95mm x 55mm x 19 mm, tips the scale at 68 grams.

The Gigabyte Aivia Xenon price and release are yet to be revealed.
