Joby crafts new versions of the GorillaMobile Ori and the GorillaMobile Yogi for iPad 2. The GorillaMobile range previously dished out a stand for the iPhone 4.
The new GorillaMobile Yogi for iPad 2 stretches and wraps in positions that allow watching videos even in the comfort of a couch while the GorillaMobile Yogi comes with sturdy legs which twist to place the device on an uneven surface. Both products allow users to take advantage of the tablet’s features without any hindrance.
“Apple has revolutionized the way people experience technology and Joby’s products further amplify that experience,” says Joby CEO, Forrest Baringer-Jones. “The elegant yet functional design of Ori and Yogi deliver hands-free experiences that elevate the utility of the device. We are excited about the addition of the camera to the iPad 2 and our unique ability to maximize its utility based on our success in the photography industry.”
The Yogi comes with modular legs that can be detached with the instant-release clip and can be used in both landscape and portrait modes. It is built of polycarbonate case with rubber bumper. On the other hand, the Ori can be folded in several positions and also slides into the user’s bag in the folio mode. It features lightweight German-made aluminum/polypropylene composite that is also used in high-performance cars.
The GorillaMobile Ori for iPad 2 is priced at $69.95 while the Yogi for iPad 2 attaches a price tag of $39.95. Both accessories are now available online through Amazon and Joby.
