Apple iPad flies to nine more countries this Friday

On May 28 this year, Apple’s highly innovative iPad was planked onto shelves in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. Now, the company has announced that iPad will be up for grabs in Singapore, New Zealand, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Ireland, Hong Kong, Belgium and Austria this Friday, July 23.

The eBook reader offers users much more with its numerous apps to deliver an amusing experience. Browsing the Web, reading and sending email, sharing photos, viewing HD videos, playing games, listening to music, and executing multiple other tasks can be easily enjoyed on the iPad.

The highly portable device is 0.5-inches thin and weighs just 1.5 pounds. With its battery life of up to 10 hours, multimedia enthusiasts can now enjoy a truly immersive experience. Apple’s offering boasts of an avant-garde Multi-Touch interface which lets users connect with the device in an intuitive and intimate way.

On July 23, users will be able to snap up the iPad in Singapore, New Zealand, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Ireland, Hong Kong, Belgium and Austria through Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers.

The company also plans to introduce the iPad to more countries this year. The availability and local price points for these additional countries will be announced at a later date.

Apple iPad is presently available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the U.S. for a suggested retail price of USD 499 for 16GB, USD 599 for 32GB, and USD 699 for 64GB. For iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G models, the pricing details are USD 629 for 16GB, USD 729 for 32GB, and USD 829 for 64GB.
