Back in October, Fujitsu announced new additions to its Lifebook laptop series and Stylistic tablet which includes the Q704 and Q584. While the company divulged all the technical details for the two said devices, it didn’t provide any price or release date. Well, both Windows powered slates are now available for purchase in the US through the company’s online store.
The Stylistic Q704 and Q584 tablets were spotted online by WinBeta. Fujitsu’s Q584 features a 10.1-inch display with WQXGA resolution and dual digitizer support for pen and touch input. It runs on a 32-bit version of Windows 8.1 and gains steam from an Intel Atom Z3770 processor clocked at 1.46GHz. The company has loaded it with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB of built-in eMMC flash storage.
The Stylistic Q584 also sports a microSDXC card slot, a USB 3.0 port, an optional Smart Card slot and a microSIM housing. Other features of the slate include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, a 2MP webcam, an 8MP rear camera and up to 11 hours of battery life. The Stylistic Q704 on the other hand, is a high performance tablet PC.
The device sports a 12.5-inch 1080p display with touch input and a FHD webcam on the front, while the rear dons a 5MP camera. For processing power, you can choose between the fourth generation Intel 2.6Ghz Core i5-4200U CPU or the i5-4300U vPro processor clocked at 2.9GHz. Both chips are accompanied by HD 4000 graphics.
On the memory front, the Q704 has 128GB of SSD storage and 4GB of RAM. The device weighs 2.16 pounds and it also accommodates connectivity features such as USB 2.0 and 3.0, a microSD card slot, Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The tablet can deliver up to 11 hours and 40 minutes of activity with the included 4250mAh Li-ion battery.
The semi-rugged Stylistic Q704 and Q584 hybrid tablets are retailing starting at $1,499 and $879, respectively.
