A certain Japan-based multinational information technology company recently updated its notebook portfolio through fresh additions such as the Fujitsu Lifebook E752, S752 and S762. The newly launched laptops are equipped with SSD drives and feature the Intel Rapid Start technology that’s capable of delivering quick boot up times similar to Ultrabook devices.
Powering up these devices are third generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors that are clubbed together with a host of features including an optional anti-microbial keyboard that’s resistant against harmful bacteria and a modular bay which allows users to remove the optical drive. This helps lighten up the load for frequent travelers, while a second battery can be attached for extended activity life of up to 15.5 hours.
“The trio of new Lifebook notebooks is all built to order, allowing business professionals to design systems that meet their exact requirements for maximum productivity,” commented Paul Moore, vice president, PC product marketing and product management, Fujitsu America. “Every customer wants a reliable, well-built system that incorporates the latest technology – which is exactly what Fujitsu delivers in its Lifebook family.”
The Fujitsu Lifebook E752 is aimed as a desktop replacement notebook and is configurable with a full HD 1920 x 1080p display. The S752 laptop is an affordably-priced version that weighs around 5.4 pounds and is said to be more beneficial for professionals through security and remote manageability attributes. Both aforementioned devices can be attached to 3 active displays simultaneously with assistance from an optional port replicator. Last on the list is the 3.7-pound S762 variant that offers high-end features such as an HD WXGA LED backlit display, a GeForce GT 640M LE GPU and much more into a magnesium-alloy crafted slim form factor.
The Fujitsu Lifebook E752 price starts at $879, while the S752 and S762 prices begin at $899 and $999, respectively. The trio is available for purchase in the US through the company’s online store.
