Fujitsu has a new portfolio of devices lined up for up launch, which falls in the Lifebook and Stylistic series of laptops and tablets, respectively. The new additions are all business-oriented with ‘touch’ being the main focus. Also, the company has loaded these devices with various enterprise features.
Let’s start off with the new laptops. The Lifebook U904 has earned itself the Ultrabook tag arriving with a 15.5mm thick design and a weight of 1.39kg. The notebook is being touted as the slimmest in its category, 14-inch that is, and it sports a high resolution IGZO touch display proffering 3200 x 1800p resolution. The system also has an optional port replicator and a backlit keyboard.
The Lifebook S904 has a smaller display measuring 13.3 inches with 2560 x 1440p resolution. The laptop can be picked up with optional touch input as well, and you can achieve up to 24-hours of battery life with a dock attachment that provides access to a second battery and an optical disk drive as well as another HDD.
In the convertible 2-in-1 lineup, the company has the Lifebook T904 Ultrabook which packs a 13.3-inch IGZO display that’s bi-directional, a swappable battery, a backlit keyboard and dual digitizer support for stylus and finger input. The notebook is said to be highly portable and 17.1mm thin. The T734 also has a bi-directional rotatable screen and it is loaded with various security features including a SmartCard, and a modular bay.
Last on the list are the Stylistic tablets. The Q584 is a 10.1-inch slate that has a 2560 x 1600p display, optional NFC and a dockable keyboard. Then there’s the 12.5-inch 1080p Q704 which gains steam from a 4th generation Core i7 vPro processor. This slate is also accompanied by various docks and accessories.
Fujitsu notes that all aforementioned devices are powered by the Windows 8.1 platform. No price and availability details have been given as yet.
