Xerox India Ltd. has just announced four new schemes for its channel partners, which offer opportunities to earn attractive gifts which include iPod Shuffles, return tickets to Singapore, Nokia E60 smartphones and Bajaj Pulsar motorbikes. On the sale of select Xerox Office printers and Multi Function Devices, channel partners with Xerox India will be eligible to win such gifts. All the four schemes are valid till December 31, 2006.

In a separate announcement, Xerox India Limited, Karnataka State Printers association (KSPA), and the Government of Karnataka have jointly announced a tie-up for setting up the first ever Print Testing and Training center in Bangalore. This move has been undertaken by the three in an effort to create awareness about the digital printing industry.
The training center is situated in Chamarajpet, Bangalore and covers an area of 4,500 sq feet. This training center plans to train many professionals each year.
Manoj Mehta, President of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) spoke at the inauguration ceremony of the Print Testing and training center in Bangalore. “This is a significant breakthrough in the digital printing industry today. Xerox’s tie-up with KSPA is the first such partnership that will accelerate the industry’s growth to a higher level. We are confident that this will create a strong educational platform to generate digital printing experts, equipped with technical know-how in India,” Manoj Mehta said.
The Xerox Karnataka State Printers Association Print Testing and Training Center will be fully equipped with state-of-the-art digital printing technology from Xerox and will ooffer comprehensive modules on vocational skills.
