If you didn’t manage to order the Motorola Moto E in India before it went out of stock, Flipkart has announced that it will be receiving new inventory tomorrow at 11 in the morning. According to the retailer, it has managed to secure 20,000 units for sale and judging by the demand for the handset, we could see them fly off the shelf in just hours.
The Motorola Moto E was launched in India last week and it went out of stock not long after it was put up for grabs. Like other phones from the Lenovo-owned company, Flipkart is the exclusive seller, although we have seen other e-retailers offering devices such as the super successful Moto G. The Moto E is an even toned-down version of the 4.5-inch phone and it’s being marketed as ‘Made to last’ and ‘Priced for all.’

Motorola has really hit the sweet spot with the smartphone as it offers an entry-level Android experience at a very affordable price of just Rs 6,999. For this amount, you get a generously-sized 4.3-inch display with qHD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The processor doing the heavy lifting here is a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 SOC which doesn’t look like much, but can deliver a smooth Android experience. Speaking of which, the phone comes with KitKat out of the box and the company has promised to deliver quick updates of latest releases from Google.
Here’s a roundup of the specifications:
– Android 4.4 KitKat OS
– 4.3-inch qHD LCD
– 1.2GHz dual core SOC
– 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM
– MicroSD card support
– Dual SIM slots
– 5MP rear camera
– 1980mAh battery
