The Flame Red Nintendo 3DS bundle is all set to launch as its price and release date details have been listed out by the Japanese consumer electronics company. This package is said to be a limited edition version and it arrives with a free copy of the latest Super Mario 3D Land game pre-built into the handheld console.
In addition to the aforementioned title, the bundle includes an AC adapter, a Nintendo 3DS stylus, six AR cards, a 2GB Secure Digital card and a Lithium-Ion battery. The flame red 3DS console came into existence more than a year ago, back in August 2011, bringing the total color choices to four which includes the cosmo black, midnight purple and pearl pink shades.
The 3DS console, as its name suggests, is 3D enabled providing gamers with glass-free three-dimensional visuals. Additionally, the effect can be adjusted accordingly to meet the viewers’ requirement or turned off completely through the Depth Slider. It features dual stereo cameras that enable 3D image capture. As most are aware, the device comes in two variants, one is the original system and the other is a larger version that boasts off a wider screen.
The former is equipped with a 3.53-inch LCD on the upper panel, while a 3.02-inch touchscreen is placed on the lower half. For the latter option, the main display size has been stretched up to 4.88 inches diagonally and the bottom panel houses a 4.18-inch touchscreen. The new iteration also has an extended battery life of around 6.5 hours. The 3DS XL can be picked up for $199.99. In recent news, Nintendo officially launched its Wii U gaming console in the US. It is up for grabs in two options at a starting cost of $299.99.
The Flame Red Nintendo 3DS bundle will be available for purchase starting November 23, 2012. As stated above, it will be up for grabs in limited quantities for $169.99. Purchasing the contents of this package separately would set buyers back $169.99 for the handheld console and $39.99 for the Super Mario 3D Land game. Best Buy is offering this bundle with a Black Friday discount which brings the cost down by $20, to $149.99.
