– Actually Hide Photos and Videos:
Go to your albums and open the folder containing the media you want to conceal. My Albums has the entirety of content you’ve clicked through the camera, taken screenshots of and received via messenger tools like WhatsApp.
After you’ve opened the album, click Select. Tap on the pictures or videos you wish to hide. Then tap the Upload icon on the lower left corner of your screen. It will take you to the sharing options. Scroll down and hit Hide. To sum it up, go to Albums > Select > Upload > Hide.
Now when you go to your photo gallery and scroll down to Utilities, you will see an album titled Hidden. Anyone you hand your phone over to will be able to access it from the gallery. So there’s one more step you have to take to relieve yourself of that worry. Go to Settings > Photos.
You will be taken to the next section which contains an option called Hidden Album. Move the slider to off. Now neither you nor anyone else will be able to see the hidden content ANYWHERE on your phone till you undo all the steps you took to conceal your media. But wait, there’s a way to hide images on the iPhone even more securely.
