An update to the Activity Log function on Facebook now enables it to render users the history of the searches they make. Released only last year, this feature on the social network keeps a track of users’ activity on the site. The developers have revealed that the update will be rolled out over the span of the next few weeks.

Apart from the other activity feedback, users will now even be able to view the searches they make on the website. And they will even have the liberty to delete any of their searches at any time they wish. This section of the social networking site is only visible to the individual users, and to no one else. The Facebook Activity Log can be found at the top of the profile page.

“Last year we rolled out a new tool called Activity Log to let you review and manage your activity on Facebook. Starting today, in addition to your other activity, you’ll be able to see the searches you’re making on Facebook. Just as you can choose to delete any of your posts, you can use the same inline control on Activity Log to remove any of your searches at any time. It’s important to remember that no one else can see your Activity Log, including your search activity,” read a post on Facebook’s official newsroom.

It was only a few days back that Facebook’s Messenger on its mobile versions got a slight overhaul. This update is now available to download for Android, while for iOS, it will be doled out soon. Apart from the ability to add Favorites, it also enables users to send text messages to contacts right from the Messenger, with the latter feature being limited only to some Android phones.

The new update for the Facebook Activity Log is expected to be rolled out over the next few weeks.
