With an aim to achieve the ‘greatest notebook of all time’ title, the Eurocom Scorpius is bundled with a little more than what most high-end desktop-replacement laptops pack in. Under its hood, an Extreme Edition Intel processor is clubbed with dual graphics technology supporting up to 8GB of video memory through CrossfireX and SLI.

Taking charge here is a Core i7 3920XM CPU backed by up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM operating at 1600MHz. The laptop can be configured with a total of 3 drives comprising of an SSD, HDD and Hybrid HDD, plus an mSATA unit for hoarding content. While visuals are taken care of by a 17.3-inch FHD display, potential users will have options of dual GeForce GTX 680M GPUs (8GB of DDR5 memory in total) or dual AMD Radeon HD 7970M graphics with 4GB GDDR5 video memory and an 850MHz clock speed.

Apart from the aforementioned graphics modules, the Eurocom Scorpius is also being offered with professional-grade options from the Quadro lineup including the 28nm Kepler-based K5000M, K4000M and K3000M units. For entertainment, the notebook is equipped with Onkyo speakers, a subwoofer and the Sound Blaster X-Fi MB2 software suite. Other features comprise of a full-sized backlit keyboard with a numeric pad, 7.1 channel audio out, HDMI 1.4a, a 9-in-1 card reader and much more, all packed within dimensions of 419mm x 286mm x 24mm to 49.7mm.
