Users who own Western Digital Live and WD TV Live Plus media player will now be able to stay connected with their friends and family via Facebook. Users can also upload photos and videos, share status, view their wall and bump onto the freshly out updates from the NewsFeed, all from their HDTV.
In addition to this, Live Plus consumers in the U.S. can instantly rent or purchase the newly released movies the same day they become procurable on DVD and Blu-ray disc by the virtue of the Blockbuster on Demand service. Another interesting feature added to the portfolio is Deezer, a personalized on-demand music service for listening to seven million tracks anytime, anywhere.
