It seems to be raining Samsung products in the technology terrain. Recently the company gave out details on its next-generation line-up of LED HDTVs including the C9000, C8000, C7000, C6800, C6500, C6300, C5000 and C4000 series. With select models boasting of immersive 3D capabilities, the pricing and availability of these new LED HDTVs has been revealed by the company. The TVs will start rolling out in retail this month onwards.

With nearly eight series offered in its LED TV portfolio, Samsung launches TVs ranging from 19 to 65 inches. The company claims the C7000, C8000 and C9000 to be this year’s premium LED TV models. They sport Samsung’s Real240Hz refresh rate technology and Samsung’s proprietary built-in 3D processor. Besides being optimized for viewing 3D content, the built in 3D processor will also allow users to render 2D content into 3D in real time. In addition to this, the company also expanded its strategic alliance with DreamWorks Animation SKG. An exclusive offering beloved Shrek film series in 3D has been revealed.

Users can combine the 3D-enabled TVs with the company’s 3D Blu-ray player or home theater system as well as the Samsung-designed 3D Active Glasses for complete 3D home entertainment. In addition to this, consumers will also receive a free 3D Starter Kit for a limited time on the purchase of a Samsung 3D HDTV and either the Samsung BD-C6900 3D Blu-ray Player or the HT-C6930W 3D Home Theater System. The kit includes a 3D version of ‘Monsters vs. Aliens’ and two pairs of Samsung 3D Active Glasses.

While Samsung’s LED C8000 and C6800 models incorporate Samsung’s Precision Dimming technology, the LED 6500, 6800, 7000, 8000 and 9000 come with [email protected] connectivity including Samsung Apps as well. This time around, the company claims to have centered its attention on designs that move beyond the familiar black bezels of many HDTV’s. Among the super-slim LED TVs, the 7000 series measures one-inch, LED C8000 0.9 inches and the LED C9000 is pencil thin at 0.3 inches.

Samsung has also developed a revolutionary four-legged quad stand for select models along with a novel ‘mystic earth’ Touch of Color (ToC) design scheme with chrome edging. The stand gives the TVs a furniture-like appearance while the fabrication scheme should allow the TVs to suit virtually any home décor. All these features of the TVs are well complemented by energy efficient attributes. All the Samsung LED TVs exceed the more stringent EnergyStar 4.0 guidelines besides being slimmer and lighter for easier shipping and storing. The 2010 LED TVs are claimed to be the company’s highest performing and most eco-conscious HDTV products

A premium 3” color touch-screen remote control is bundled with the C9000 series. The remote sports a live feed of the channel users may be currently watching. The remote for the C9000 only further includes an earphone jack and Twin View. With the remote for the LED C7000, C8000 and C9000, users gain access to features like Allshare and a QWERTY keyboard.
