The Energy Tablet i10 Dual has gone official for Europe and it’s the latest addition to the company’s slate series that proffers 4:3 aspect ratio displays. This addition by Energy Sistem is aimed towards the budget-minded carrying an alluring price tag for those seeking an effective Android device to go online.
The Energy Tablet i10 Dual is the second addition in its range which includes the i8 that runs on the Android ICS platform. Unlike the S10 which carries a 10.1-inch LCD display, this slate is being deployed with a 9.7-inch TFT LCD capacitive panel which proffers a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Apple iPad lineup. Here, visuals are delivered in HD 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and the screen employs 5-point multi-touch input.
Matching the price, the company has preloaded the Energy Tablet i10 Dual with the Android 4.1 platform which could be outdated once Jelly Bean 4.3 arrives. Apart from this, there’s no mention of any preloaded services and content, so buyers can expect a clean interface sans any bloatware. The company has provided the usual connectivity radios as well. They include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 along with other options like USB OTG, HDMI and more.
The innards of the Energy Tablet i10 Dual are furnished with a dual core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.6GHz and a quad core Mali 400 GPU. For storing content, users will have 8GB of memory along with a microSDXC card slot. A pretty large 8000mAh battery has been embedded which can deliver up to 8.5 hours of Wi-Fi. Lastly, the slate is compatible with external 3G modems.
The i10 Dual is currently available for purchase through the company’s online store. It carries a price of €199.
