From the makers of the 3D enabled Prism and 10-inch XL Pro 2 tablets, a new contender branded Ematic eGlide Pro X has made its way into the budget-friendly scene bearing a $220 price tag. This Android-powered slate packs in the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and a host of features including programs and apps aimed towards both professional as well as personal use.
Designed around a slim and lightweight form factor, the device fits in a capacitive LCD display measuring 9.7 inches diagonally with a 4:3 aspect ratio. A 1.2GHz processor does all the heavy lifting, while a 400MHz graphics unit helps deliver rich visuals through the touchscreen’s intuitive interface. On the memory front, it employs 1GB of RAM, an internal hoarding capacity of 8GB and 5GB of cloud storage. Additionally, a microSD card can be thrown in through the expansion slot which supports a total of 32GB.
