Elephone is one more Chinese company to enter India, G7 smartphone unveiled

A trend that can be observed right now is that of every other Chinese smartphone manufacturer entering India hoping to make the most of the developing market, with Elephone being the latest one among them. It has launched its new G7 smartphone here and has tagged it with a price of Rs 8888.

This device is already available for purchase through Snapdeal in the form of gold, white and black color options. It happens to feature an end-to-end thickness of just 5.5mm, which is very close to the slimness of the new Micromax Canvas Sliver 5. One downside about the Elephone G7 is the fact that it runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, and gives the Lollipop version a miss.

You’ll find a 5.5-inch 720p HD display sitting on its front surface, while its processing will be taken care of by a 1.4GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592M processor. This setup of the G7 is accompanied by a 1GB RAM module as well as a Mali-450MP GPU.
