EA ties-up with Excel Interactive to distribute PC Games in India

EA logo Topnotch interactive software entertainment company Electronic Arts (EA) has chosen Excel Interactive as its master licensee for its PC games business in India. Through the partnership agreement, EA will distribute and reproduce its PC games in India.

Speaking on the tie-up, Ajay Khanna, General Manager, Electronic Arts, India said, “EA is delighted to be working with Excel Interactive to broaden our PC game distribution base in India. The tie-up with Excel Interactive will ensure that we are able to provide EA’s growing fan base in India, with the latest games as soon as they are launched worldwide.”

M.N Kapasi, Managing Director, Excel Interactive maintained, “Excel Interactive’s association with the world’s leading video game developer, Electronic Arts, will compliment our presence in the home video space. It is a natural progression for us to enter this segment as the distribution of the gaming product overlaps with that of the home video.”

Redwood City, California- based Electronic Arts Inc. is nearly a jack of several trades when it comes to the gaming scene. It develops, publishes, and distributes interactive software worldwide for videogame systems, personal computers, cellular handsets and the Internet.

Need for SpeedT, FIFA Soccer, The SimsT, EA SPORTST Cricket, Battlefield 2142T, Tiger Woods PGA TOURR , Harry PotterT, and The Lord of the RingsT are a few amongst the several renowned game franchises and titles.
